IDA and EDA
Individual and Educational Development Accounts

IDA and EDA help qualified participants save and build financial assets to be used for education, housing or the start-up of a business. EDA participants are parents of 21st Century Scholars and are part of an innovative partnership.

Savings are matched on a three-to-one basis by the state of Indiana through its Department of Housing and Community Development Authority. Program participants are eligible for a period of four years, and receive training in financial literacy, budgeting and first time home buying.
