Project Phoenix and Case Management Services

Community Action of Southern Indiana remains committed to its mission of family and community self-sufficiency through Project Phoenix and other case management services. Engagement with customers whether they are individuals or families needing help, providing comprehensive services is the goal. Trained case managers work with families on identified needs for the purpose of moving families out of poverty and helping families reach self-sufficiency. The key areas of assistance include housing, transportation, crisis help, education, employment and job training, wellness and health, and asset building. Participation in Project Phoenix and case management services is voluntary and participating individuals and families are assessed and referred to services by staff who act as advocates for them during the case management process.
