Give for Good 2025

September 16, 2025 | Written by Adrian Jamieson, Executive Director

This year, CASI is proud to participate for the very first time in Give for Good Louisville—our region’s largest day of giving. While the campaign carries the Louisville name, it lifts up the entire Kentuckiana region, including right here in Southern Indiana.

For over 60 years, CASI has been here for families when they need it most—whether that’s food on the table, safe spaces for children, or resources to get through a crisis. Through Give for Good, we are excited to spotlight six specific projects that will make an immediate difference in the lives of our neighbors:

Stocking Our Food Pantry

Every month, our pantry serves families in need—but we often run short on essentials like fresh produce, bread, and canned goods. Donations will help us keep shelves full and ensure families can access healthy options when they need them most.

Launching a Community Crisis Fund

With a $1,000 goal, we will create a Crisis Mini-Grant Fund offering 10 grants of $100 each. These small but powerful grants will cover urgent needs—like a car repair, rental deposit, or utility start-up costs—that can help families avoid crises and move forward with stability.

Empower Health, One Heartbeat at a Time!

Many in our community live with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, yet struggle to manage their health through proper nutrition, physical activity, and blood pressure monitoring. To address this, we are offering an evidence-based program developed by Stanford University that empowers participants to better manage their conditions along with free blood pressure cuffs.

Investing in Storytelling

Your support can help us purchase a cost-effective drone. This tool will allow us to capture stunning 4K video from the air—helping CASI share stories, raise awareness, and celebrate community impact in powerful new ways across our website and social media.

Outfitting Youth Leaders

Our youth leaders inspire their peers and represent CASI in the community. Matching shirts will not only build pride and team identity, but also help them stand out as ambassadors of our mission.

Safe Storage for Children’s Play Equipment

For just $500, we can purchase storage designed for walking blocks, tricycles, balls, a parachute, and more—keeping children’s play equipment safe and accessible right there where they play.

How You Can Help

Every gift made during Give for Good Louisville directly supports one of these six projects. Whether you give $10, $100, or more, you’re fueling real solutions for families in Southern Indiana.
