At Community Action of Southern Indiana, we are proud to invest in the future of our community. This summer we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating a truly exceptional individual. We are thrilled to honor William Mulumba for his outstanding dedication to both his education and his community. His story is a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when passion meets opportunity.
Over the past eight weeks, William’s internship with us has been nothing short of a phenomenal success. It beautifully highlights the power of our ongoing partnership with Ivy Tech of Sellersburg, a collaboration that consistently helps us produce positive, lasting outcomes for students and for our community as a whole. William’s ability to skillfully balance his demanding college studies, part-time work, and personal life with the rigors of this internship have been truly remarkable. He gained invaluable, on-the-job experience that is directly related to his degree and future career.
William’s contributions in network mapping, network infrastructure, and network security are vital for helping us effectively serve our clients across Southern Indiana. His work is a perfect example of the profound impact that a single person can have, influencing our various programs—whether it's Head Start, Weatherization, Housing, or Food Insecurity. His contributions are not just about technical skill; they are a direct investment in individuals on their journey toward self-sufficiency.
William’s hard work, commitment, and inspiring attitude have made a tangible difference within our organization. We are incredibly proud of him and are excited to see all that he will accomplish in his career. His success is not only a personal triumph but a win for all of us at Community Action and for the community we serve.
William's favorite quote? "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13
