CASI  Recognizes the Dedicated Board of Directors for Their Service

At CASI, we recognize our esteemed Board of Directors for their invaluable contributions and selfless dedication to the community and the organization’s mission.  The board plays a crucial role in providing leadership, strategic direction, and governance, ensuring the organization can effectively serve our community. 

An important strength of CASI’s governance is its tripartite Board composition, a hallmark of Community Action Agencies nationwide. Our Board is intentionally structured to include representatives from the low-income community we serve, elected public officials or their designees, and leaders from the private sector. This balanced structure ensures that decisions are informed by lived experience, public accountability, and professional expertise. 

By bringing these perspectives together, CASI is better equipped to respond to community needs, steward public resources responsibly, and remain grounded in our mission. This inclusive approach strengthens transparency, deepens community trust, and ultimately leads to more effective and equitable outcomes for the families we serve.

Our Board of Directors’ collective wisdom, unwavering commitment, and diverse expertise are essential for our success.  We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and passion they freely give to steer CASI toward achieving our important goals. They provide oversight, ensuring the responsible stewardship of resources and upholding the organization’s commitment to its mission and legal duties.

Our Board members have shown exceptional dedication.  Each member actively participates in meetings, strategic planning, and our fundraising efforts. Their work is a testament to their commitment to the public good.  The leadership ensures the long-term sustainability and growth of CASI, and allows the organization to continue its vital work in the community. These volunteers consistently act in the best interest of CASI, making thoughtful decisions and holding the organizations accountable to our mission and community.
